<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upload apparatus of high usability that enables a user to easily log in to a server device providing a content sharing service and upload content irrespective of whether an ID and a password are stored in an information processing device used, and to provide the server device, an upload system and upload method. <P>SOLUTION: A user uses a camera device 6 to capture an image representing a QR code 4 containing ID and password information 14 necessary to upload video data 13 to a network 3. The camera device 6 extracts the information 14 from the captured image representing the QR code 4, and sends the video data 13 and extracted information 14 to the video sharing server 2.
