<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an information processing apparatus which is connected to a network, from acquiring information useless for the information processing apparatus, when acquiring information from a server. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus stores information, regarding a plurality of image forming apparatuses and receives from another information processing apparatus a request for acquiring the stored information about the plurality of image forming apparatuses. Then, the information processing apparatus compares the stored addresses of the image forming apparatuses, with the address of the other information processing apparatus to determine whether the addresses of the image forming apparatuses are accessible from the other information processing apparatus. The information processing apparatus transmits the information regarding an image forming apparatus of which the address is determined as being accessible from the other information processing apparatus, to the other information processing apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
