<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit board enhanced in the chemical resistance of a surface circuit conductor to which a probe terminal is connected, and the circuit board with the probe terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The circuit board has the surface circuit conductor 2 on the surface of an insulated substrate 1. The insulated substrate 1 has a groove-shaped recessed part 1b at the periphery of the surface circuit conductor 2. Edges of the surface circuit conductor 2 are located in the recessed part 1b. The surface circuit conductor 2 has a metal layer 2c on the outermost surface and the metal layer 2c is in contact with the outer side surface of the recessed part 1b. The metal layer 2c does not allow a chemical used for mounting the probe terminal to infiltrate into the recessed part 1b and come into contact with the surface circuit conductor 2 located under the metal layer 2c, thus preventing the corrosion of the surface circuit conductor 2. Accordingly, the circuit board is highly chemical resistant and does not allow an increase of connection resistance to the inner wiring 3 of the insulated substrate 1 caused by the lower adhesive strength of the surface circuit conductor 2 to the insulated substrate 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
