<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress wasteful heating and radiation noise by varying a voltage supplied to a system bus. <P>SOLUTION: A clock generator 15 supplies in common a clock pulse of the frequency corresponding to a bus speed selection signal outputted from a microprocessor 11 to the microprocessor 11 and a memory controller 13. A decoder circuit 17 decodes the bus speed selection signal, and varies the voltage of power supply supplied from a power supply circuit 16 to a system bus 21 connecting the microprocessor 11 and the memory controller 13 based on the decoded value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
