<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a side of a sheet in contact with a back gage from being mistakingly put in a cutting machine in which the back gage is mechanically positioned according to a cutting order of the side of the sheet. <P>SOLUTION: A cutting order display device in a sheet cutting machine comprising the back gage, a cutting blade for cutting the other side of the sheet opposite to the side of the sheet that is put in contact with the back gage and positioned, and a display portion for displaying a distance from the back gage to the cutting blade according to the cutting order of each side of the sheet, includes a storage portion for storing an image data 5e of the sheet depicting a vertically discernible image 5f and an image data 5d of the back gage, and a revolving amount setting table for setting a revolving amount of the image 5e of the sheet in the cutting order and the position of the back gage image on the displayed screen.
