<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of reducing the possibility of disconnection of an interlayer changing part. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes a first conductive layer having a first electrode film formed thereon, a first insulating layer disposed on the first conductive layer, a second conductive layer disposed on the first insulating layer and having a second electrode film formed in a position planarly different from the first electrode film, and a second insulating layer disposed on the second conductive layer. A recess is formed in the surface of the second insulating layer, which includes therein a first area to expose the first electrode film, a second area to expose the second electrode film, and a third area to interconnect the first area and the second area.
