<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing device capable of suitably photographing an image of an object of interest within a photographing range. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The photographing device 1 includes a photographing means 2, a photographing range determination means 3b, and a photographing range prediction means 3f. The photographing means 2 photographs an object of interest. Based on the photographed image for the object of interest photographed by the photographing means 2, the photographing range determination means 3b determines whether the object of interest is out of the photographing range or not. The photographing range prediction means 3f predicts that the object of interest goes out of the photographing range, based on the photographed image for the object of interest photographed by the photographing means 2. Moreover, the photographing device 1 includes a direction instruction means 6 and a zoom means 5. The direction instruction means 6 instructs the direction of movement for moving the photographing means 2 so that the object of interest does not go out of the photographing range, if it is predicted that the object of interest goes out of the photographing range by the photographing range prediction means 3f. If it is determined that the object of interest is out of the photographing range by the photographing range determination means 3b, the zoom means 5 zooms out the photographing means 2 so that the object of interest is within the photographing range.
