<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an improvement of print quality by a printing processing of multiple times without providing a highly-precise position control mechanism of a printing sheet. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A line-type inkjet printer includes a multiple times printing setting means for setting the number of printing times and an ink discharged amount in each printing time per printing for every page, a paper re-feeding means for re-feeding a printed sheet according to the number of printing times, an image processing means for feeding image data subject to the ink discharged amount in each printing time to a printing mechanism, a handling sheet position detection means for detecting the line-directional position of the printing sheet conveyed to the printing mechanism per pitch of ink ejection nozzles, a multiple times printing control means for computing the difference between the position in the line direction of printing sheet at the present printing time and the position in the line direction of printing sheet at the last printing time.
