PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly stable electrophotographic photoreceptor of high responsiveness even in a long wavelength range, which can prevent an electric property from being deteriorated even when used in repeatedly. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor contains a charge generating agent of chlorogallium phthalocyanine, and a charge transfer agent of a compound expressed by General Formula [I], wherein R<SB>1</SB>-R<SB>2</SB>respectively represent independently hydrogen, a halogen atom, a 1-6C alkyl group maybe having a substituent, and a 1-6C alkoxyl group.
