PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable rotating anode X-ray tube capable of a stable rotating operation of a rotating body. SOLUTION: In the X-ray tube, a cylindrical rotating body is supported on a stationary axis by a radial bearing in free rotation. The stationary axis is provided with a first lubricant storing portion for supplying the lubricant to the radial bearing. Further, the stationary axis includes a large-diameter columnar portion, and on an expanded portion of the rotating body for receiving the large-diameter columnar portion, there is provided a first thrust bearing and between an end surface of a sealing portion for sealing the rotating body and a fixing body and the large-diameter columnar portion, there is provided a second thrust bearing. The large-diameter columnar portion includes a first lubricant storing portion, and the first and the second lubricant storing portions are connected through by a circulation hole provided on the stationary axis, and the circulation hole is connected through with the second thrust bearing by a liquid supplying hole.
