An oscillator is driven stably with constantly fixed oscillation even when the frequency and amplitude of power supply voltage are different depending on the target of an oscillator. A drive control device (10) generates a predetermined switching pattern by operating a switching element and supplies drive power for making the oscillation generation part (7) of the oscillator generate a predetermined oscillation frequency and amplitude using the switching pattern. The drive control device has a voltage detection circuit (11) which detects the power supply voltage characteristic to the target of the oscillator, a storage circuit (12) which is associated with an optionally set reference voltage and which previously stores a basic switching pattern for driving the oscillation generation part (7) with proper oscillation frequency and amplitude, and an arithmetic processing circuit (13) which calculates the ratio of the detected voltage characteristic to the target detected by the voltage detection circuit (11) to the reference voltage and calculates a switching pattern substantially equal to the basic switching pattern in the environment of the power supply voltage characteristic to the target according to the ratio.
