The inventive electric generator is characterised in that the rotor thereof is rotated by the vortical field of the Earth or another planet body. The rotor component part can be in the form of magnets (electromagnets) or conductors. The operation of a vortex rotor depends neither on a season or a day nor on the weather. The operation thereof does not requir energy carriers (coal, petroleum products etc).
