<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent trouble due to the use of the same timer ID by a plurality of applications by quickly detecting an error due to a timer service subscription failure during application operation. <P>SOLUTION: An operation control program comprises an initialization part 1011 for initializing all the timer ID storage areas of applications to an initial value, a timer ID return part 1012 for, in response to a request for timer service subscription from each application after the initialization, returning a timer ID different from the initial value to the application, a timer service providing part 1013 for providing a timer service according to the timer ID used by the application at a timer service request, and a timer ID recognition part 1014 for recognizing whether or not the timer ID of the application is the initial value at the timer service request.
