<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material having rheological characteristics and having the character that it retains gel-like shape free of disorder but is fluidized immediately upon rubbing, in order to formulate personal care products. <P>SOLUTION: A resin composition is prepared by reacting components comprising dibasic acid, diamine, polyol and monoalcohol, wherein (a) at least 50 equiv.% of the dibasic acid includes polymerized fatty acid; (b) at least 50 equiv.% of the diamine includes ethylene diamine; (c) 10-60 equiv.% of the total of the hydroxyl and amine equivalents provided by diamine, polyol and monoalcohol are provided by monoalcohol; and (d)≤50 equiv.% of the total of the hydroxyl and amine equivalents provided by diamine, polyol and monoalcohol are provided by polyol.
