<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an earlier connection between a lead-acid battery and a capacitor while protecting a relay arranged between the lead-acid battery and the capacitor at the time of starting an operation of an electrical system of a vehicle, and to improve a frequency of regeneration and increase an effect of improvement of fuel consumption under an effective utilization of the capacitor. <P>SOLUTION: When a signal from a starting switch represents ON, a capacitor voltage Vc and a battery voltage Vb are detected (S3, S4) to check if a potentialΔV between the battery and the capacitor is a threshold value Vs or more (S5) and when a relation ofΔV≥Vs is found, a power generation indicating value with the capacitor voltage Vc being a desired voltage is given to an alternator (S6). Then, when a relation ofΔV<Vs is found, a relay RY is turned on (S7) to change over the alternator to a usual power generation control (S8). With this arrangement, an earlier connection between the battery and the capacitor is achieved while protecting a relay contact point, and thereby a frequency of regeneration is improved, and an effect of improvement of fuel consumption under an effective utilization of the capacitor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
