<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable supporting block with little sinking even when it supports a vehicle rocker part, and to provide a vehicle lifting device stably moving the vehicle upward and downward. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This supporting block 30 includes a flat part 30A contacting a vehicle rocker part, and a leg part 30B supporting the flat part 30A. A punch hole 33 is formed on the leg part 30B from a side opposite to the flat part 30A. A reinforcing material 32 is embedded in the flat part 30A. A body part 31 constituting the flat part 30A and the leg part 30B other than the reinforcing part 32 is made of rubber of hardness of 80±15 (JIS A). A sheet, such as of canvas, is used as the reinforcing material 32. By this constitution, the strength of the flat part 30A can be higher than that of the leg part 30B.
