PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic run-flat tire satisfying both of the run-flat durability and the ride comfort during normal traveling on a high level. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic run-flat tire, crescent-shaped cross-section reinforcing rubber layers made of hard rubber, of which JIS A-type rubber hardness is 55 to 99, are inserted into right and left sidewall portions. Of the right and left reinforcing rubber layers, the reinforcing rubber layer on the sidewall portion, of which load is greater due to camber provision in being attached to a vehicle, is formed of a multilayer reinforcing rubber layer in which a plurality of rubber with different hardness is laminated, while the reinforcing rubber layer on the other sidewall portion, of which load is smaller, is formed of a single-layer reinforcing rubber layer. The hardness of the single-layer reinforcing rubber layer is lower that of the rubber layer with the greatest hardness in the multilayer reinforcing rubber layer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
