PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a treatment for coagulating a protein by flushing a stock solution in an apparatus for separating and recovering a protein and a method for separating and recovering a protein in which a protein is separated from a protein-containing raw solution and recovered. SOLUTION: The apparatus for separating and recovering a protein is equipped with a stock solution supply means 2 for supplying a fixed amount of a stock solution X to a decompression container 5 per unit time and a slurry supply means 7 for detecting a storage amount of a second slurry X2 in a coagulation part 6 and supplying the second slurry X2 in an amount based on the detected result from the coagulation part 6 to a separation part 8.
