PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower unit for a vehicular air conditioning apparatus, capable of efficiently discharging water flooding the inside of the blower unit to the outside thereof. SOLUTION: The blower unit for the vehicular air conditioning apparatus is provided with a blower case (30) communicating with an outside air inlet (5), a centrifugal fan (10) which is disposed in the blower case (30) and sucks air into the blower case (30) for blowing the air and a motor (20) for driving rotation of the centrifugal fan (10). The motor (20) includes a motor part (21) having a rotation driving body therein and a housing part (22) which retains the motor part (21) and which is fitted into the blower case (30). Further, a fitting part (8) between the housing part (22) and the blower case (30) is formed with a drain passage (40) for discharging water invading into the blower case (30) to the outside.
