Continuous balancing method for grinding wheel or rotor

The method for continuous balancing of a rotor uses a number of sensors providing measurement values for determination of the imbalance of the rotor. As the rotor rotates balance chambers containing balancing fluid and fixed at different angles around the rotor, have extra fluid added as necessary. A balancing process is carried out in steps, by addition of balancing fluid, until the imbalance change in a process step, is smaller than the background noise level inherent in the sensors. At this stage the balance of the rotor should be within the tolerance level, unless the tolerance level has been incorrectly set below the noise level, in which case a warning can be given.
