NEGATIVE ELECTRODE FOR NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY AND NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with a fiber sheet hardly peeling off a nonwoven fabric from the surface of an active material layer and for preventing coming off of an active material from the active material layer.

SOLUTION: The negative electrode 100 for the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with the fiber sheet includes a current collector 11 and an active material layer 12 formed on at least one surface. The negative electrode 100 for the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with the fiber sheet is formed on the surface of the active material layer 12 by integrally fusing a fiber sheet 14 containing fibers containing resin having a melting point of 200-380°C and having autohesion property.
