<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress contacting of a tuning-fork type piezoelectric vibration piece with a lid and peeling of the tuning-fork type piezoelectric vibration piece from a base, even for a tuning-fork type piezoelectric vibration device is applied with external force by being dropped and so forth. <P>SOLUTION: A crystal vibrator 1 is provided with a crystal vibration piece 2, the base 3, and the lid. The crystal vibration piece 2 is provided with a first leg portion 21 and a second leg portion 22, and a base portion 25, where a first support arm portion 23 and a second support arm portion 24 are provided in a projected manner. The crystal vibration piece 2 is jointed to the base 3 at the first support arm portion 23 and second support arm portion 24 each via six stud bumps 5, and jointing positions of the six stud bumps 5 at each of the first support arm portion 23 and second support arm portion 24 are within the range of 0.41L to 0.79L from base end surfaces 232 and 242 of the first support arm portion 23 and second support arm portion 24, with respect to the overall length L thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
