<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an operation panel for an elevator capable of reducing possibility that a user of an elevator or a luggage accidentally collides with a side face of a box body and breaks an operation panel. <P>SOLUTION: To reduce possibility that a user of an elevator or a luggage accidentally collides with a box body 1 even when a projection of the box body is made large, a handrail 4 is provided at a portion of the side face of the box body 1, which projects the most from a wall of the elevator.
