MACHINE TOOL HAVING NUMERICAL CONTROL DEVICE AND ON-BOARD MEASURING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool having a numerical control device and an on-board measuring device capable of eliminating the need of branching signals from the on-board measuring device from signals from movable shafts.

SOLUTION: This numerical control device 8 inputs a measuring signal ipf outputted from the on-board measuring device 1 and shaft position detection signals ipx to ipc outputted from a position detection device for detecting the position of each movable shaft of the machine tool into the servo-control unit 8b of the numerical control device 8. The information on the measuring signal and the shaft position detection signals inputted into the numerical control device 8 is outputted from the numerical control unit 8 into a personal computer 11, and calculation such as the calculation of a shape error is performed in the personal computer 11. The numerical control unit 8 controls the machine tool for performing corrective processing according to the result of the calculation.
