PURPOSE: A hopper for a belt conveyor is provided to reduce the work time and minimize damage to particulate materials when transferring the particulate materials. CONSTITUTION: A hopper for a belt conveyor comprises a guide member(20). The guide member extends from a bottom outlet of the hopper toward a belt surface, and has an opening formed in the progressive direction of the belt. The guide member guides to heap particulate materials to a certain height on the belt surface.
