<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a routing method in a ring network including a plurality of nodes that are connected. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes that each node on the ring network obtains topological information of the ring network, the other nodes obtain an outside ring route learnt from the outside ring network, then, main and backup paths from the present node to the outside ring route are calculated based on the obtained topological information of the ring network, and a fast reroute RFC (FRR) switchboard table is generated, and when a fault happens to the ring network, the main and backup paths are switched according to the FRR switchboard table. Correspondingly, the method also provides a node on the ring network. A simple routing achievement mode is provided for the ring network and rapid convergence is achieved when fault happens. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
