<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for demineralization condensate which make it possible to obtain the quality of high-purity treated water with a low concentration of sulphate ions and nitrate ions deriving from the total organic carbon (TOC) eluted from a cation resin and an anion exchange resin. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The condensate demineralization method for giving demineralization treatment to condensate in a nuclear power generation plant with a boiling water reactor by an ion exchange resin is characterized in that the device has a mixed bed where a cation exchange resin of a strong acid gel type with a uniform particle diameter whose average particle diameter value ranges between 450 μm and 600 μm and where the existence rate of resin particles in the range of the average particle diameter value ±100 μm is 95% or higher and an anion exchange resin of a Gauss particle diameter distribution porous form of a strong base type 1 are mixed uniformly, in that the mixed bed is composed by attaining uniform mixture so that the existence ratio of the anion exchange resin can be within the design standard value ±5%, and in that the device gives demineralization treatment to the condensate by putting it into contact with the mixed bed.
