PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which gives an image a margin having a size suitable for performing block processing. SOLUTION: An image processor has: a means for inputting image data and the print setup information thereof; a means for dividing the image data into block areas and calculating the margin of the block area thus divided based on the print setup information; a means for generating a processing block area by adding the margin to the block area; and a means for performing image processing to a processing block area generated by the means for generating a processing block area.
