PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device which has security strength for making it difficult to perform hacking. SOLUTION: This semiconductor device 120 is configured as a monolithic semiconductor device for outputting an authentication result based on the comparison of biological information acquired by imaging with preliminarily registered biological information. The semiconductor device 120 includes: an imaging region (imaging part 121) having a function for picking up the image of an examinee; an authentication region (authentication part 122) having a function for comparing the biological information acquired by image pickup by the image pickup region with the preliminarily registered biological information for authentication; and a first transmission region (internal bus B1) having a function for transmitting the biological information acquired by imaging in the imaging region from the imaging region to the authentication region.
