PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner preventing abnormal noise and scratching even if a vertical blade contacts a reset protrusion. SOLUTION: The air conditioner is equipped with a front face frame 7 provided on a front face of a body 11, a blowout opening 10 blowing out heat-exchanged air, the vertical blade provided on the blowout opening 10 and changing a vertical direction of blown out air, and a cover lid 3 detachably mounted on a screw mounting part 2 provided on the front face frame 7 and covering the screw mounting part 2. The cover lid 3 is formed of a resin material different from the front face frame 7, and the reset protrusion 8 for positioning the vertical blade on the cover lid 3 is provided on the cover lid 3. Even if the vertical blade of the same material as the front face frame 7 contacts the reset protrusion 8 during resetting of the vertical blade, since the materials are different, generation of abnormal noise and scratching can be prevented.
