<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional tile in which its sticking work using mortar or adhesive is troublesome. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The tile includes an inserting edge provided on one side of the reverse surface thereof to protrude outwardly over the top surface, a coating edge provided on the top surface of a side opposite to the inserting edge to protrude outwardly over the reverse surface, and a support edge provided on the reverse surface side of the coating edge. The inserting edge can be inserted to a connecting tool, the coating edge can cover the connecting tool, and the support edge can be fitted into the connecting tool. Accordingly, the mortar or adhesive can be dispensed with, and the connecting tool can be shielded by the vertically arranged tiles so as to be invisible from the surface side. A lateral protruding edge protruding outwardly over the reverse surface is provided on either one of right and left sides of the top surface of the tile, and a side edge overlapping part protruding outwardly over the top surface is provided on the reverse surface side opposite to the lateral protruding edge, so that no clearance is formed in a joint between the laterally arranged tiles.
