PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of suppressing the occurrence of a failure in an inner face in a vulcanization step, and achieving weight saving by reduction of a tie-rubber layer. SOLUTION: In this pneumatic tire, a carcass layer 4A is stretched between a pair of bead sections 3, 3, and a plurality of belt layers 7A, 7B are arranged on the peripheral side of the carcass layer 4A in a tread section 1. The number of lamination of the carcass layers 4A, 4B in a side region from both ends of the belt layers 7A, 7B to each bead section 3 is made to be larger than that of the carcass layer 4A in the lower region of the belt layers 7A, 7B, and an inner liner layer 9 is arranged in the inner face of the tire along the carcass layer 4A. The tie-rubber layer 10 is selectively arranged at a region excluding the center area of the tread section 1, which is the space between the carcass layer 4A and the inner line layer 9, and the edge 10a of the tie-rubber layer 10 on the outside in the tire radial direction is arranged from the edge of the belt layer 7B with the second widest width to the inside in the tire width direction within 10-40% of the range of the width W of the belt layer.
