<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of displaying a file name, or the like, constituted of the number of characters exceeding the number of characters which can be displayed in one row, so that it is identified without scrolling one row. <P>SOLUTION: A display device is provided with a display part for displaying a predetermined character string.
