<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt operation device capable of improving the operability of a seat belt and improving the amenity of an occupant in a tongueless seat belt apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This seat belt operation device 8 is slidably supported to the seat belt 3. When wearing and operating the belt, the occupant holds the seat belt operation device 8 to pull out the seat belt 3 and hooks it to a belt hanger 11 of a belt engagement holder 7. The belt hanger 11 is latched to a base 10 of the belt engagement holder 7 by being downward pushed.
