PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transmitting data capable of reducing the quantity of data transmitted.

SOLUTION: A connection-number control circuit 38 for a device for transmitting 11 determines the number of connections on the basis of the quantity of data in each channel. Packet generating sections 33a to 33c for each channel generate connecting packets containing the packet data of the connection number sections and headers and footers in pairs on the basis of the determined number of connections. The device for transmitting 11 transmits the generated connecting packets every isocycle of every connection number.
