PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting apparatus detachably attaching a ceiling illumination cover to a ceiling with simple structure. SOLUTION: The lighting apparatus includes a hood panel 3 disposed above the ceiling 1 with an opening 1a formed apart from the ceiling, the ceiling illumination cover 4 covering the opening 1a from above to bring its peripheral edge part 4a into contact with a peripheral edge part 1b of the opening 1a, a lighting body 5 disposed between the hood panel 3 and the ceiling illumination cover 4 and a leaf spring 6 disposed between the hood panel 3 and the ceiling illumination cover 4 to press the ceiling illumination cover 4 such that the peripheral edge part 4a of the ceiling illumination cover 4 presses the peripheral edge part 1b of the opening 1a.
