<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for measuring undulation of cable appearance including a structure which can clarify a criterion by digitizing the undulation of cable appearance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for measuring undulation of cable appearance includes an image processing unit 3 for collecting an inspection sample with a predetermined length from a cable manufactured by a cable manufacturing line and photographing and measuring undulation occurring on the side of a cable 2 of the inspection sample to digitize it and a cable transfer unit 4 for transferring the cable 2. The cable transfer unit 4 includes a stage 10, a pair of linear motion guiding members 11, a first cable fixing section 12, a second cable fixing section 13, a geared motor 14, a weight 15, a plurality of pulleys 16, camera support sections 17, 18, and two light sources 19.
