<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of adjusting a neutral position of a solenoid driven valve capable of easily and accurately performing adjustment even in a solenoid driven valve comprising a lash adjuster. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This method of adjusting the neutral position of a solenoid driven valve includes: a process for providing a stopper 32 to lock swing of a flap 14 in an opening direction of a valve element 17 in a proper position; a process for extending a hydraulic lash adjuster 19 by reducing bend of a torsion bar 26; a process for turning a fixed end of the torsion bar 26 in the state of reducing bend thereof till the flap 14 abuts on the stopper 32; and a process for fixing the fixed end of the torsion bar 26 in a position, in which the flap 14 abuts on the stopper 32. This method adjusts a neutral position of the flap 14, in which elastic force generated by the torsion bar 26 and elastic force generated by a lower spring 22 keep a balance, to a proper position.
