<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a plasma display device, which can enhance tightness between a heat radiation layer and a plasma display panel, to enhance heat radiation performance, can reduce thereby a noise to prevent an afterimage, and can reduce manufacturing processes of the heat radiation layer and a cost thereof; and to provide the plasma display using the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the plasma display device includes: a first-panel preparing step of preparing the first panel; a heat radiation layer forming step of applying a graphite liquid substance onto the first panel, using an application device, to form the heat radiation layer; and a chassis base adhering step of making a chassis base adhere to the first panel, to be opposed to the heat radiation layer.
