<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis method and an analyzer of hexavalent chromium for measuring easily hexavalent chromium without using a spectrophotometer, and acquiring an objective determination result. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this analysis method, a complex-forming reagent is added to a liquid sample to produce a colored complex of hexavalent chromium, and then the liquid sample is brought into contact with an adsorbent, and a layer thickness of a colored adsorbent layer is measured, to thereby determine hexavalent chromium in the liquid sample.
