Compounds of Formula (I): (I) wherein R1 is a heteroaryl or heterocyclic group, optionally substituted for one or a plurality of atoms or groups; X is 1 to 4 substituents, identical to or different from each other and selected from hydrogen, halogen, (C1-C10)alkyl, halo(C1-C10)alkyl, (C1-C10)alcoxy, NRaRb, nitro, or cyano, the (C1-C10)alkyl group capable of being optionally substituted for one or a plurality of groups selected from halogen, (C1-C10)alcoxy, (C1-C10)halogenoalcoxy, NRaRb, or hydroxyl; R, in positions 3, 5, 7, or 8 of Fimidazo[1,2-a]pyridine, is 1 to 4 substituents, identical to or different from each other and selected from hydrogen, halogen, (C1-C10)alkyl, halo(C1-C10)alkyl, or (C1-C10)alcoxy;  R2 and R3, independently of each other, represent a hydrogen atom or a (C1-C10)alkyl group optionally substituted for an Rf group, or an optionally substituted aryl group; R4 is a hydrogen atom, a (C1-C10)alkyl group optionally substituted for an Rf group, or an aryl group optionally substituted as a base or salt having an acid added. The invention is used in therapy and in synthesis methods.
