PURPOSE: An electronic lower tilt steering apparatus is provided to improve the convenience of the tilt operation, to reduce the cost, and to shorten the assembling process. CONSTITUTION: An electronic lower tilt steering apparatus is composed of a tilt housing(210), a tilt screw(215), a tilt bracket(220), a column housing(247), a lower bracket(235), and a mounting bracket(230). The tilt housing has a screw deceleration unit and a housing hinge unit. The screw deceleration unit is connected to an electric motor. The housing hinge unit is hinged to a column housing(247). The tilt screw is connected to the screw deceleration unit and is rotated. The tilt bracket has a nut(225), a nut hinge unit(223), and a column support unit(250). The tilt bracket is hinged to an upper bracket(233) and rotates a steering column in tilting. An upper tube(240) and a lower tube(245) are inserted in the column housing. The column housing is fastened to the upper bracket. A bottom hinge(237) hinged to the lower tube is formed in the lower bracket. The lower bracket supports the lower tube in tilting. The mounting bracket fixes the steering column to a vehicle body.
