METHOD FOR MAKING ROTOR OF SQUIRREL CAGE INDUCTION MOTOR

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a rotor of a squirrel cage induction motor is provided to perform a low starting current and a high starting torque by using an aluminum die-casting. CONSTITUTION: A rotor core is manufactured by laminating a steel plate of a special squirrel cage structure or a steel plate of a normal squirrel cage structure(S10). A copper bar is inserted to one slot of the rotor core(S20). An aluminum bar is inserted to a rest slot of the rotor core through an aluminum die-casting(S30). An end ring is formed by the aluminum die-casting(S40). The end ring connects the copper bar to the aluminum bar. The aluminum bar and the end ring are integrally formed by the aluminum die-casting.
