<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a benzoylurea-based compound useful as an active ingredient of an insecticide according to a method with little by-products. <P>SOLUTION: The method for efficiently producing the benzoylurea-based compound represented by formula (VI) comprises reacting an aniline-based compound represented by formula (I) as a starting substance with a compound represented by formula X<SB>1</SB>-CO-X<SB>2</SB>in the presence of a catalyst which is an amide compound, a urea compound or pyridines, producing a pyridyloxybenzene derivative, and then reacting the resultant derivative with a benzamide-based compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
