<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector, which can greatly enhance a hole transport property while a high electron transport property is maintained. <P>SOLUTION: A radiation detector is provided with electrodes on both sides of a photoconductive layer for recording, and detects electric charges generated within the photoconductive layer for recording as an electric signal by being irradiated with radiation while a predetermined bias voltage is applied between the electrodes. Amorphous selenium containing an alkali metal element in a range between 0.0007 atomic ppm and 0.0035 atomic ppm is used for the photoconductive layer for recording. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
