PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery unit having a good attachment/detachment property and portability on the electronic device without sacrificing a battery capacity while maintaining reliability of power supply to the electronic device. SOLUTION: A socket type connector 70, which includes a positive electrode terminal contact 72 and a negative electrode terminal contact 76 and does not project from a case of a battery unit 50, is arranged on an edge part formed between two cylindrical battery cells 54 and formed of an upper surface 50a and a side surface 50b. A battery detection terminal for detecting a battery state from an L-shaped part in which an exposed part of a side surface in a longitudinal direction of the battery unit becomes longer than an exposed part of a side surface in a thickness direction is arranged on the edge part with the connector arranged.
