PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator with high deodorizing and disinfecting performance capable of obtaining deodorizing and disinfecting effects in a wide range without affecting air duct resistance. SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes a heat insulating box body 301; a door body 307 mounted in an openable/closable manner to an opening of each storage chamber; a refrigerating cycle for generating cold air; and a cold air circulating path for circulating the cold air. A deodorizing means or a disinfecting means 335a is provided in a discharge duct flowing into the storage chamber 304 included in a subsequent stage of the storage chamber 302 through which the cold air passes first. Consequently, even if the disinfecting means is arranged in the storage chamber, cold air circulating efficiency is maintained hardly affecting the air duct resistance in the cold air circulating path, and the storage chambers in the second position onward in the flow direction of cold air from a cooling means can be deodorized and disinfected.
