PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer system which provides a high-quality and high-speed print job, and in which a printing head is comparatively easily exchanged if necessary. SOLUTION: The printer cartridge for an inkjet printer includes a printing fluid containing means and a page width printing head 52 communicating with the printing fluid containing means 28, 30, 32 and 34. The inkjet printer includes a cradle having a main body complementary with the detachable printer cartridge, a data connection point fixed in the main body and receiving a data signal to define a print image from an external data source, and a processing means coupled with the data connection point and allowed to print an image by actuating the page width printing head in response to the data signal.
