PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus using an easily-precipitable ink where the ink is prevented from precipitating in an ink supply path connecting between an ink tank and an ink head. SOLUTION: The inkjet printer 10 includes: the main tank 106 for storing the ink; the ink head 104 for ejecting the ink; the ink supply tubes 107, 108 and 109 having an upstream end connected to the main tank 106, and a downstream end connected to the ink head 104 so as to connect between the main tank 106 and the ink head 104; an ink circulation tube 16, one end of which is connected to the ink supply tubes 107 and 108 through a three-way valve 12, and the other end of which is connected to the ink supply tubes 108 and 109 through a three-way valve 14; and a pump 18 for circulating the ink between the ink supply tube 108 and the ink circulation tube 16.
