摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage facility which does not require each device to be switched from a working state to a work-stopping state when the data of an identifier given to a cargo by a reader cannot be read, and enhances the efficiency of the storage work and the carry-in/carry-out work of the cargo. <P>SOLUTION: The storage facility includes storage shelves S1, S2 with a plurality of unit storage spaces being opened in a common opening end face, a picking device P provided adjacent to the opening end face of the storage shelves S1, S2, a receiving conveyor 77 provided at the intermediate position of a storage area of the storage shelves S1, S2, and a reader for reading the data of an identifier given to the cargo N to be thrown onto the receiving conveyor 77.
